Vico Bianco by Raro Rooms
Vico Bianco is an elegant historic building in Ostuni, finely renovated to offer spacious and welcoming rooms and suites, where every detail is designed to ensure maximum comfort and make your stay special.
The rooms, restored with care and skill by local stone craftsmen, retain an authentic and enveloping charm, inspired by the ancient idea of a refuge, a place that welcomes and regenerates both body and soul.
It is the ideal choice for those looking for:
- Spacious rooms and suites, a terrace to enjoy and a rooftop with a hydromassage pool where you can relax;
- A solution in just a few minutes walk from the historic center of Ostuni
- For those who want to stay away from the chaotic historic center without giving up the possibility of being in the historic area of Ostuni.
Common Areas
The property has several common areas designed to ensure a pleasant and relaxing stay.
Main Entrance: Upon entering, guests are welcomed into a large space of about 30 m², featuring air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, CO₂, smoke detectors, a Hi-Fi stereo system, and satellite TV.
- Breakfast Room: The breakfast room is equipped with Wi-Fi, an Italian coffee machine, and a Hi-Fi stereo system. This space opens onto a terrace, allowing guests to start the day with an outdoor breakfast, enjoying the view and the unique atmosphere of Ostuni.
- Dining Room: With a surface area of 29 m², the dining room is equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, CO₂, smoke detectors, a Hi-Fi stereo system, and a TV. It has five dining tables that can accommodate up to 10 people and is directly connected to the terrace, offering a convivial environment to enjoy meals.
- Terraces: The property boasts two main terraces:
- First Terrace (First Floor): Furnished with outdoor furniture, a Wi-Fi connection, and a Hi-Fi stereo system, this terrace offers the possibility of having meals outdoors, thanks to the presence of six dining tables that can accommodate up to four people each.
- Second Terrace (Second Floor): Designed for moments of relaxation and leisure, this terrace is equipped with outdoor furniture, Wi-Fi, a Hi-Fi stereo system, six deckchairs, and a dining table for four people. The main feature is an outdoor hot tub (dimensions: 2.15 m x 4.23 m), ideal for relaxing while admiring the surrounding panorama. The swimming pool is open all year round and, during the winter, it is heated to ensure maximum comfort for guests.

Swimming Pool
Beach and Pool Information and Rules:
- Children under 18 must always be supervised by an adult when in the vicinity of the pool. Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring that young children do not approach the water without an adult.
- Non-swimmers or those with little experience must always be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- For the safety and comfort of all guests, please avoid diving, jumping into the pool, and running or jumping in the surrounding area.
- For your well-being, it is recommended not to swim within 1.5 hours of consuming food or alcohol.

Self Checkin and Smart Access
- Check-in: From 16:00.
- Check-out: By 10:00.
At Vico Bianco, late check-in, even late at night, is always possible thanks to smart access (access to rooms with a smartphone or code on the keypad).
Self-Check In procedure:
- After making the reservation, you will receive a communication (via email or WhatsApp) with the instructions to complete the pre-check-in online (This step requires entering personal data and paying in advance for the stay and the tourist tax).
- Once the pre-check-in is completed, you will be provided with the credentials needed to access the property and your room (via email or WhatsApp). This includes:
- The link to use a web app that acts as a digital key.
- Inside the page accessible at the link
- The unique code to entered on the keypad of the electronic lock.
- Upon arrival, enter the unique code on the keypad at the main entrance to access the property.
- Repeat the same procedure to access your room.
You can use the same credentials to freely enter and exit the property and your room throughout your stay.

The room is almost entirely built in Salento stone and shares the main entrance with the “Romantic Grotta dei Millenari” room, which makes it ideal for those traveling with other couples.

All junior suites and rooms are equipped with a thermostat that allows you to adjust the temperature according to your preferences. Free Wi-Fi Internet in all areas of the building.

Air Conditioning
To set the preferred temperature, use the wall regulator by pressing "+" and "- ". Make sure that the air setting is set to cooling (as in the photo) and not heating. Opening the window deactivates the system.
TV and Pay TV
We are pleased to offer a variety of TV channels for news, sports and entertainment. Please consult the TV channel guide located inside the safe, where you will also find the remote control for the TV and SKY.
In order to view all channels correctly, set the television to HDMI output.

Ostuni - The White City
Ostuni, often called the “White City”, is a town perched on 3 hills in the province of Brindisi, Puglia.
The city stands out for its characteristic whitewashed houses, which give the historic center a bright and evocative appearance. This tradition of whitewashing houses with lime dates back to the Middle Ages and was intended to sanitize the rooms during epidemics. In addition to the historical and architectural heritage, including the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, Ostuni also boasts a coastline of about 20 km, characterized by sandy beaches and crystal clear waters that have been awarded the “Blue Flag” several times for the quality and cleanliness of the water.
History of Ostuni
Ostuni, famous for its white facades, has ancient origins, with traces of human settlements since the Paleolithic. Populated by the Messapians, it was destroyed by Hannibal during the Punic Wars and then rebuilt under Roman rule. After the fall of the Roman Empire, it was sacked until it became part of the Norman County of Lecce in 996 AD when it was fortified with walls and a castle. From the Middle Ages to the Renaissance, it passed under the Principality of Taranto and, from 1507, under Isabella of Aragon, who made it a thriving cultural center. In 1799 it became a free city and, today, Ostuni preserves its rich historical heritage, establishing itself as one of the most fascinating destinations in Puglia.
